As another year wraps up, I’m sitting here feeling incredibly grateful for everything 2025 has brought our way. From personal milestones to some truly pinch-me professional moments - it’s been one of our biggest and most exciting years yet.

This year saw our weddings featured in Vogue, Vanity Fair, Together Journal, The Wed and Anti Bride, being named by Bridal Journal as a Global Wedding Planner to Watch for 2025, and making the list of top wedding planners across NZ and Australia with Wed Vibes. We had the absolute honour of assisting 42 incredible couples down the aisle, led creative direction on four large scale styled shoots across the country, and even flew over to New York for our very own Times Square feature. Closer to home, we opened the doors to our very first AKC office space (come visit us for a coffee anytime), celebrated staff welcoming more babies, more house moves, and continued to grow this business in ways I once only dreamed about.

To our couples, vendors, friends and family, thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and being part of the AKC journey. And to my amazing team, your dedication, creativity and care for our couples never goes unnoticed. I’m endlessly proud of what we’ve built together.

As we look ahead, 2026 is already shaping up to be our busiest year yet, with some very exciting surprises to come. For now, we’re signing off to soak up the holidays with our loved ones.
